Working in WaterMedia has been my medium of choice since it dries quickly and satisfies my desire to work from richer darks to lighter opaques. My goal is to use as much of the rich transparencies as possible through the freedom and ease of changing shapes, collage. Caran D'Arche and pencil. Some experiences of life are transparent (like glazes) and other experiences cannot be explained with our finite minds and emotions (like opaque).

We still expand and grow through each encounter whether in paint or in life. The courage to experiment with new ideas and ways of applying color develop the artist as well as their work.

Art enriches both the life and the artist who translates their experiences into color. Creativity is a gift from the One who is the master Creator from the beginning of time.

The North Dallas Artist Studio Tour is an educational art event that invites the public into working studios of North Dallas artists, allowing an intimate view of the creative process. The Tour seeks to raise public awareness of the quality and diversity of artwork being produced by local artists and to demonstrate that art adds meaning and richness to community life.
