Pat Kochan

Artist Pat Wheelis Kochan is a native of Dallas and is well known for her nostalgic series of watermedia paintings of downtown Dallas. The images from this series can be seen in her book, Once Upon a Time in Dallas, through the Artist's Eyes. She began her art career as an Abstract Expressionist in the early 1960s and also enjoys painting in her other series' such as interiors, still lifes and flowers.

She juries art shows and does art demos and workshops for art organizations.
Her work has won many awards both nationally and internationally.

Mission Statement
The North Dallas Artist Studio Tour is an educational art event that invites the public into working studios of North Dallas artists, allowing an intimate view of the creative process. The Tour seeks to raise public awareness of the quality and diversity of artwork being produced by local artists and to demonstrate that art adds meaning and richness to community life.
