Linda Rowe

Linda Rowe is a resident of North Texas where she maintains her studio. Linda's choice of subjects reveals an essential element of her makeup as an artist---and one that basically hasn't changed. Her jewelry depicts her love of nature and natural stones and her natural attraction to the landscape.

She works from life, imagination, and inspirations she gets while out on "nature hunts" with her camera. Linda's art education has taken several forms. She has studied with several great teachers, worked through many outstanding books on art, and many years of making jewelry have kept her on course.

"For me, making jewelry is a spiritual endeavor. It enriches, it edifies and it makes one more sensitive. Just as importantly is the richness of my family life and my satisfaction in teaching art. Life is such a wonderful journey and there is joy in the travel."

Mission Statement
The North Dallas Artist Studio Tour is an educational art event that invites the public into working studios of North Dallas artists, allowing an intimate view of the creative process. The Tour seeks to raise public awareness of the quality and diversity of artwork being produced by local artists and to demonstrate that art adds meaning and richness to community life.
