Artist Statement
Elements and remnants of my spiritual past are woven into layers of my paintings. My methods allow for spontaneity at the beginning, as I am constantly constructing and deconstructing surfaces--surfaces which may only hint at past memories.

My enjoyment is in this process of painting, with the hope that the final image will be one of continuity and wholeness.

Mission Statement
The North Dallas Artist Studio Tour is an educational art event that invites the public into working studios of North Dallas artists, allowing an intimate view of the creative process. The Tour seeks to raise public awareness of the quality and diversity of artwork being produced by local artists and to demonstrate that art adds meaning and richness to community life.
